2007 - 2008
The Northeast Chevy/Gmc Truck Club Sponsors Three Clean-ups at the Wendell State Forest which is a CCC Built State Park. Wendell State Park is located in Wendell,Ma
The Northeast Chevy/Gmc Truck Club has Held the Clubs Annual Truck and Vintage Trailer show at that location for 28 Years.
The Clean-up Days Help the Park clean up after the Winter Months and Allows the Park Staff To focus on other projects. In the past the Club has Been Known to rebuild Stone Walls, Build Trails and Repair Older Trails.
The Staff is Very Interested in the History Of the State Park Site. Being that this Location is a CCC Civilian Conservation Corp. Camp site and Being that 08' Is the aniversary of 75th Year. The Wendell State Park Has had the Members of the Northeast Chevy/Gmc Truck Club to assist in building a New Pavillion where one of the original Buildings once stood.
This Building was completed this summer and dedicated to the CCC members in the Summer of 2008.
